Missouri Driver Improvement (Missouri DIP)
In the state of Missouri drivers may take the Missouri driver improvement program for traffic violations, to remove Department of Revenue (DOR) points, and/or simply get an auto insurance discount.
Drivers can opt to take the course once every 36 months to remove a traffic violation ticket/citation. Many Missouri courts will offer this option.
Most major car insurance providers will offer any insured drivers a discount on their rates with the completion of the defensive driving, or driver improvement course. See your auto insurance agent or company for additional details.
Missouri Mature Driver Improvement for Seniors Age 55+
Senior drivers who are at age 55 and over can obtain a mature driver improvement discount through most auto insurance companies. This particular course is designed specifically for seniors drivers as a refresher course. It's all online and actually has fun animations and listen-along aspects.

- First Impact is a 90-minute evidence-based traffic safety program that educates parents about Missouri's Graduated Driver License law. The goal of First Impact is to reduce new driver crashes resulting in injuries and fatalities, by increasing parental awareness and enforcement of Missouri's Graduated Driver License law.
